Urban Learning Hub is an academic campus for post Covid-19 reality located in San Jose, California. Builded on the structure of the existing shopping mall, the campus is organized to form new integrated mixed use clusters for academic, research, business and student life. It is a multi-used building, connecting in one development an academic campus, commercial offices and student housing. The campus is looking for the organic teaching typology of space. It is promoting interdisciplinary and project based collaborative learning. The campus typology aims at fostering togetherness and sociability. It is also creating a vibrant public realm to encourage the connection with local communities. The master plan vision enables the campus to be a catalyst project which brings economic and urban vitality to the eastern portion of the city.
