Motion Motives ist eine neue prototypische Gebäudetypologie mit integrierter Motion Capture- und 3D-Scanning-Technologie, die der Herstellung, Anpassung und dem Testen von hochindividueller Bodywear und Prothesen dient, dies sowohl vor Ort, als auch auf Anfrage. Die Architektur wurde auf der Basis von Analysen menschlicher Bewegungsmusternfür ein benutzerorientiertes Hub entworfen, das alle Aspekte der öffentlich aufstrebenden Bodywear-Industrie vereint. Durch das Platzieren des Gebäudes in einem urbanen und lebendigen Umfeld, wird die Rolle als neue gesellschaftliche Typologie verstärkt, indem sie wertvolle medizinische Daten für die Entwicklung angepasster Bodywear bereitstellt und dadurch eine stärkere Bindung zwischen Benutzer, Produkt und gebauter Umwelt herbeiführt.

Motion Motives is a new prototypical building typology, with integrated motion capture and 3D-Scanning technology, used for fabrication, fitting and testing of highly customized bodywear and prosthetics on site and on demand. The architecture is designed by pedestrian motion for a user-oriented hub that centralises all aspects of the publicly emerging bodyware industry. Locating it within an urban and vibrant setting enhances its role as a new civic typology, in doing so providing invaluable medical data to develop more specialised bodywear, and in result instigating a stronger bond between user, product and the built environment.
