The work deals with the possibilities of emergent urban strategies, bottom-up systems exploring capacities and the possibilities of multiple and adaptable systems. Topological thinking connects urbanism with architecture. The project develops a forgotten artificial heap in the middle of the city and transforms it into a sustainable, structured cluster of residential, development and technological units. The successive strategy preserves the qualities of the area and develops the hidden potential of the place. The discrete architectures of the units are articulated in a coherent language based on the original factory designs.
