The treatment facility and fabrication of the artificial organs suggesting an alternative use of the particle accelerator is proposed in Inglewood, California. The project proposes to use the synchrotron to reinforce the scaffold during the process of bioprinting. Having the synchrotron as the base body of the project’s formalism – the other services of healthcare facilities are adjacent to its shape to maintain the technological circulation. Unlike classical hospital typology planning, Decell Lab emphasizes the use of the public spaces. The role public spaces play in usual medicinal facilities is rather excluded – waiting rooms, in most of the cases, take subsidiary priority. The project’s program of the public park gradually transforms from the intimate zones to the exposed ones, offering its users optional activities and making people meet people.
