Die Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Roman Frankenstein oder der moderne Prometheus von Mary Shelley (1816), den die damals 18-Jährige Autorin in einer „Lockdown“ ähnlichen Situation geschrieben hat. In der Arbeit wird der Frage nachgegangen, was die junge, weibliche Autorin damals beschäftigte und was sie mit der scheinbar simplen Geschichte sagen wollte. Die künstlerische Arbeit ist eine Installation, die in drei Stationen gegliedert ist und ein Gefühl von Einsamkeit darstellt.

The Diploma project is based on the novel Frankenstein or the modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley (1816), an 18-year-old author who wrote this novel in a similar „lockdown“ situation. The Diploma Installation explores the connection between the author and her fictional work. The artist reads Mary Shelley’s novel between the lines and questiones what she wanted to say as a young female artist. The Installation explores and reflects on the feeling of loneliness and melancholy.
