Whoever erects monuments pays tribute to a person, perhaps marks an event, in short: calls for commemoration, fights death and decay. When we set a memorial stone, here and today, then we place a lasting sign against pre-emptive obedience, against decreed reasonableness, and forever for a Last Loosening.
