Co-Ability Design Practices

Matter and Mind in Disability
Ruth Mateus-Berr with Sophie Bösker, Lisa Ebenstein, Julia Fromm, Anetta Luberda, Christine Weiler

The exhibition showcases design products and interim results developed in an interdisciplinary collaboration between students of the Angewandte and the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. Students explored the relationship between art and design with a focus on the deconstruction of social norms; they also analysed the terms “ability” and “impairment” in order to identify positive values of impairment through theories of collaboration and applied design thinking.
